Who can apply for a loan with Beech Finance?

Applicants between the ages of 18 and 70 years of age may apply provided annual income is a minimum of £5000 and they live in the United Kingdom. 

How much can I borrow?

We arrange secured loans from £5,000 to £1,000,000 and unsecured loans from £500 to £25,000. Mortgages and Remortgages can be arranged up to £500,000  

How do I apply for a loan?

Do I have to pay you before I receive a loan?

Absolutely not. There are no upfront fees whatsoever with Beech Finance. 

What happens to my details?

The information you provide will be used for credit checking and assessment by an underwriter in connection with your application. Your application is treated in the strictest confidence and in accordance with the Data Protection Act. 

May I apply if I'm self-employed?

Yes, we welcome applications from self-employed even if your income is hard to prove. 

What if I have County Court Judgements (CCJs) or Defaults?

Don’t worry! Beech Finance specialises in helping people who wouldn’t normally be able to get finance. 

How long will it take for me to get my money?

Once your application has been provisionally accepted, you will receive an offer pack that contains a Credit Agreement that you need to sign. You may also be asked for proof of earnings and address. Once these details have been satisfactorily verified, your cheque will be posted immediately. 

What happens if I lose my job?

For peace of mind and security, Beech Finance offers a Payment Protection Policy. The policy provides help with your loan repayments in the event of sickness, redundancy, and other misfortune.

What sort of rates will I be charged?

The rates charged by our lenders reflect your circumstances, our underwriters will need to assess your situation before being able to tell you which rates would be available to you. We take into account all the information you provide us with and credit reference checks. 

Which lenders do you use?

We search from a panel of lenders from the UK mortgage market, including high street lenders and specialists, with whom we have excellent relationships and extensive product knowledge. 

How can Beech Finance help?

Our team know the mortgage market and the products our lenders offer, we work to find the best mortgage for you. We are also able to help people who are having difficulty in obtaining a mortgage, maybe due to difficulty in proving income or having had credit problems. 

I am not on the voters role, can I still get a mortgage through Beech Finance?

Yes, if you are able to provide proof of residency in the form of 'utility bills', 'bank statements' etc. 

I am self employed can I still get a mortgage?

We specialise in mortgages for people who are self employed with or without accounts. 

I am unemployed, can I still get a mortgage with Beech Finance?

An income will be required from a guaranteed source, such as Private Pensions, Occupational Pensions, Investment Income etc. 

How long do I need to be in my job before I can get a mortgage through Beech Finance?

There is no minimum time, our lenders criteria does vary, please call 0800 195 6710 for more details. 

How much can I borrow in relation to my income?

Generally most lenders will lend 3.5 times your annual income or 3 times a joint income, however our lenders offer up to 5 times your annual income. Please call Beech Finance on0800 195 6710 for more details.

I have an outstanding balance from a property repossession, can I still get a mortgage with Beech Finance?

The criteria varies from lender to lender, please call 0800 195 6710 for more details. 

Are buy to let products available if I have had previous credit problems?

Yes, normally up to a maximum of 90% of the purchase price. The mortgage is supported by the rental income, which generally must achieve a minimum of 125% of the monthly mortgage payments.
